Volunteer Opportunities

It takes a village! There’s really no better way to give back to Franklin than to give the gift of time. There are a variety of ways to support Franklin through volunteering.

School Volunteer

If you wish to volunteer at the school on a regular basis, first connect with FOF or your child’s classroom teacher to learn about opportunities. You will also need to read more about the district’s volunteer requirements. Ms. Norma in the main office can help you complete any requirements required based on the type of activity you plan to engage in.

Valets

Franklin parents are grateful for the valet program. Can’t find parking? In a rush to get to work?  Drop your child off at Valet and they will be safely escorted on to campus. However, we need volunteers to make this program happen. Being a Franklin Valet only requires a 25 minute commitment once a week and it is a great way to meet other Franklin Families. Apply now.

Room Parents

Room Parents are connectors between parents and the entire Franklin community from teachers and administration to Friends of Franklin. Room parents are responsible for sending weekly emails, coordinating classroom volunteers and relaying important information to the parents in their classroom (as directed by the teacher or FOF). Contact Friends of Franklin if you are interested in being a room parent.

Events

Franklin holds several community wide events every year and we are always looking for help with set-up, clean-up and everything in between. Contact the FOF Volunteer Coordinator to find out more!
